In Nandha he was the frustrated young man earning for his mother's
love and now he is the impulsive rebellious dude who would not stop to think twice about questioning the unjust at any cost.
Tired and impatient of the laid back attitude of the existing laws, he takes them into his own hands. Like they say one should
make hay while the sun shines, he seems to be making use of his not yet much grown hair and rugged looks that still seem to
be lingering around to his benefit in the movie Shree. Time in and again we have heard of young red-blooded heroes fighting
rich wealthy crooked men of the village in our Tamil cinema, Shree also sounds rings familiar bells along the same note. Vijaykumar
plays the role of a much-concerned father who tries to overprotect his son. There are two heroines in the film, Sindhu Menon
and Sruthika, the daughter of the late Tamil comedian Thengai Srinivasan. Sindhu Menon plays the lover of Surya and the seductive
posters of Sruthika suggests that she should be the girl chasing Surya to fall in love with him - another needed gimmick for
the distraction.
